The CAIS Student Leadership Conference is designed to build on the leadership skills and experiences of the participants through the use of experiential education. The goals and objectives of the conference, among others, include:
*Increase awareness of leadership styles and the different aplications
*Use current school issues to develop problem solving skills
*Understand how different types of learning will influence group processes
*Foster knowledge of group development processes and understand how group management is effected by a group's development
*Understand the importantance of communication within groups of varying size
*Gain a better knowledge of effective ways to communicate with large groups
